When Rod Kimble’s stepdad Frank succumbed to a heart condition that left him frail and sick, Rod knew he had to raise money to save Frank’s life. How else would he be able to kick Frank’s ass and prove he was a man? So Rod donned his trusty stunt mustache and hit the streets with his crew in an effort to raise the requisite cash.
One of their ideas involved a homemade “Stunt Man Movie” shown at the local school auditorium. Buried among clips of dubious training exercises and stunts-gone-awry is this nugget of classic wisdom: “Life is short…Stunt it!” The movie ended up flopping big time, but Rod’s indomitable spirit ultimately endured to stunt life once again.
